INVITATION

Invitation is a request (spoken or written) to participate or be present or take part in something, example “an invitation t lunch”.
Study the following dialoge :

Dialoge 1

Tom : How would you like to go to the zoo this Sunday?
Clara : I’d love to. I haven’t gone to the zoo for a long time?
Tom : Neither have I. That’s why I thought going to the zoo might be a nice idea.

Dialoge 2

Rani : Would you like to play tennis tomorrow?
Susi :Thank you very much, But I have something to do tomorrow.

 Dialoge 1 and 2 on the first sentence was making invitation.
 Dialoge 1 the expression in accepting invitation.
 Dialoge 2 is the expression in refusing invitation.
